Abhaneri is renowned for its intricately designed stepwell, a marvel of rainwater harvesting. The Chand Baori is one of the largest and deepest stepwells in India, with 13 levels and a depth of 65 feet. The stepwell's stunning carvings and massive structure offer a striking visual experience. After this visit, continue your journey to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal, where the magnificent architecture of its mausoleums, forts, and palaces reflects the grandeur of the Mughal Empire. While Agra's political significance waned when the capital was relocated to Delhi in 1634, its architectural splendor remains unmatched, and its skilled artisans continue to uphold the legacy of inlay work on marble and soapstone.
