Itinerary

Day 1 I ARRIVE IN NEW DELHI

Upon arrival in New Delhi, we will transfer to our hotel and begin our exciting nine-day journey through India and Dubai. As we settle into our accommodations, we will have the opportunity to rest and recharge before embarking on our adventures in the days ahead. New Delhi, the vibrant capital city of India, is known for its rich history, diverse culture, and bustling energy. We look forward to exploring all that this incredible destination has to offer.

Day 2 I DELHI

We explore the captivating city of Delhi, where the old and new worlds seamlessly blend. Our first stop will be at the Jama Masjid, a magnificent 16th-century mosque made of marble and considered to be the largest in India. We will then hop on a rickshaw to take a thrilling ride through Chandni Chowk, one of Delhi's most historic and colorful streets, with its bustling markets and vibrant energy.

 

As we make our way through the city, we will pass by India Gate, a towering archway dedicated to the Indian soldiers who fought for the British Army during World War I. Next, we will visit Humayun's Tomb, a stunning example of early Mughal architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our last stop for the day will be at Qutab Minar, a five-story victory tower that symbolizes the beginning of Muslim rule in India under the first Muslim ruler, Qutab-ud-din Aibak. Here we will learn about this iconic landmark's fascinating history and cultural significance.

Day 3 I DELHI/AGRA

We will leave Delhi and travel to the historic city of Agra. In the afternoon, we will visit the magnificent Agra Fort, an imposing structure that served as the residence of Mughal emperors for over 200 years. The fort boasts impressive halls and palaces, including the Jahangir Palace, the Diwan-i-Khas, and the Diwan-i-Am, all reflecting the grandeur and opulence of the Mughal Empire. We will marvel at the intricate details and stunning architecture of this UNESCO World Heritage Site and learn about the history and significance of the fort from our knowledgeable guide.

Day 4 I AGRA/JAIPUR

we will begin our day with a visit to the iconic Taj Mahal in Agra. The stunning white marble mausoleum was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz, and is considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. We will explore the intricate details and breathtaking beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage Site and learn about the love story behind its creation.

 

After we visit the Taj Mahal, we will embark on a scenic drive to Jaipur. Along the way, we will stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a deserted red sandstone city that was once the capital of the Mughal Empire. This impressive city is a fine example of Mughal architectural splendor, with stunning palaces, mosques, and courtyards. We will have the opportunity to explore the intricate carvings and stunning architecture of Fatehpur Sikri before continuing our journey to Jaipur.

Day 5 I JAIPUR

We will explore the vibrant city of Jaipur, also known as the "Pink City." Our first stop will be at the remarkable Amber Fort, a hilltop fortress that is a remarkable example of Rajput-Mughal architecture. We will marvel at the intricate details and stunning views of this impressive UNESCO World Heritage Site.

 

Next, we will take a guided tour of the City Palace Museum, which houses the exquisite art collections of the Maharajahs of Jaipur. We will learn about the fascinating history and culture of the city and its rulers as we explore the museum's galleries.

 

We will then visit Hawa Mahal, a stunning palace constructed for the court harem to peer through the lacy grillwork covering the windows at the processions and street life below. Adjacent to the palace is the Jantar Mantar, an open-air observatory built by Sawai Jai Singh II in the 18th century. We will discover the complex astronomical instruments and learn about the significance of this important landmark.

 

Later in the day, we will immerse ourselves in the local life of Jaipur as we explore an outdoor market and experience the traditional art of Henna Tattoo Painting. We will have the opportunity to interact with locals and learn about the city's vibrant culture and traditions.

Day 6 I JAIPUR/DELHI/DUBAI

We will depart from Jaipur and make our way to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, we will board our flight to Dubai, a stunning city and emirate in the United Arab Emirates. We will bid farewell to India and embark on the next leg of our journey to explore Dubai's breathtaking sights and sounds.

Day 7 I DUBAI CITY TOUR

Explore the vibrant city of Dubai, which rises out of the desert and crowns the Gulf Coast with its presence. Our tour will begin with a magnificent view of Dubai Creek, followed by a visit to the heritage area of Bastakiya, with its charming wind-towered houses built by wealthy merchants. We will take a water taxi across the creek to explore the renowned spice markets and Gold Souk, where we can indulge in shopping and haggling.

 

Next, we will visit the 225-year-old Al Fahidi Fort, where the Dubai Museum holds precious archives of the city's past and chronicles of its developing stages. We will learn about the fascinating history and culture of the city and its people and gain a deeper understanding of Dubai's role in the global economy.

 

The remainder of the day and evening is free for independent exploration, allowing you to discover more of Dubai's sights and sounds at your own pace. You can opt to visit some of the city's modern landmarks, such as the Burj Khalifa or the Palm Jumeirah, or relax and soak up the atmosphere of this vibrant and cosmopolitan city.

 

Optional Experience:

Shared Desert Safari with BBQ dinner: +$95 per person

Embark on an authentic Middle Eastern adventure as your driver takes you up and down the golden sands of Arabia, stopping on the highest dune for a breathtaking view. Feel the adrenaline rush as you sandboard down the dunes. Next, we'll head to an authentic Bedouin campsite where you can take a camel ride and experience traveling as the ancients did in the past. Dine on a delicious barbeque dinner under the stars while enjoying an enchanting belly dancer performing to Arabian music. Complete the experience with your shisha pipe, available in many aromatic flavors, before returning to your hotel.

Day 8 I DUBAI

Today is free to explore Dubai on your own, or you may opt to take our recommended full-day tour to Abu Dhabi.

Discover Abu Dhabi with the opening of various brand-new cultural landmarks. The capital city has become a hub for world-class cultural exhibits. FAQs

Can I add airfare to the land package?
Yes, you can add airfare to a package. Let us know at the time of your reservation. Please note pricing and availability is always subject to change Prior to ticket issuance.
Can I change my reservation if I've made a mistake?
There is a $75 change fee (per person, per change) for any changes made to a reservation after it has been confirmed.  Any passenger name change made to a booking reservation after it has been confirmed will result in a $100 per person per name change fee and is subject to availability, additional airline change, and/or cancellation fees. Additional fees may apply.  For more details, please contact us.
Can I extend or modify my trip?
We will do our best to accommodate your request. Any modification must be arranged before the deposit is made and subject to availability.
Can I opt-out of certain activities on the trip?
While any unused portion of the trip is non-refundable, you can opt-out of certain included activities if you do not wish to participate in them. Please be sure to notify us prior to your departure date and notify your tour guide upon arrival. You will be responsible for any expenses incurred should you deviate from the tour during the scheduled tour itinerary. If you choose to deviate from the tour group on a day we are transiting from one city to another. You will also be responsible for your own transportation and expenses incurred. 
Can I request adjoining rooms?
We can request adjoining rooms, however, requests cannot be guaranteed as it is based on hotel availability.
Can I select my seats on my flight during the booking process?
Seat assignments on your flight can be done directly via the airline. You can either select your seats at the airline check-in counter on the day of your flight, or after we issue your tickets, you may call the airline directly and pay the fee for pre-assign seats.
Can we book a triple room?
Triple rooms are available upon request for select tours. Please note hotels will provide a rollaway bed for the third traveler in a double room. 
Do you offer and/or suggest travel insurance?
We recommend you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected.

How much time will I get to myself?
Each program is different. Whenever possible, we offer to modify the program to fit your requirements.
I am a solo traveler, can you match me with other solo travelers on my tour?
For privacy reasons, we do not pair solo travelers with one another.  A single supplement fee will apply for solo travelers.
I have special dietary requirements, can you accommodate them?
Meals provided during your tour are based on local cuisine and menus. We can generally assist guests in communicating special meal requests to airlines, hotels, and restaurants but please be aware that they are not guaranteed. Please let us know at the time of booking your trip. We will notify our tour guides of any food allergies, but please note meal alternatives are subject to confirmation as they are based on the availability of the providing restaurant. For those with strict dietary needs, we recommend bringing pre-packaged food alternatives for your trip.
My outbound flight has been cancelled by the airline; what do I do now?
If your flight has been canceled, please liaise with the airline directly to book the next available flight. If, for any reason, you are unhappy with the alternate flight offered by the airline and decide to book a new outbound flight on your own, please note that the original return flight(s) will automatically be canceled if you are a no-show on your original outbound flight.
My package includes the arrival transfer, how do I know when/where to meet up with my driver?
Information on how /where to meet up with your driver is included in your travel documents. On arrival at the airport, please collect your luggage, make your way through customs, and enter the arrivals hall, where the driver will be waiting for you. Should luggage be very slow coming through, or should you have any issues with damaged or lost luggage, please make sure that you complete the necessary documentation within the luggage area. ONE MEMBER of the party should go through customs and into the arrivals hall to advise the driver of the delay. Please note that this person will not be allowed access back into the luggage area. You could also contact our local representative. Extra costs may apply if meeting your driver is delayed more than one hour following your scheduled flight arrival time.  
What are the visa requirements?
Visa requirements for each destination are indicated in our Essential Travel Information on our website. Information is also available at the US Department of State website at https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel.html. It is the responsibility of travelers to obtain proper visas in a timely manner prior to the trip departure date.  
What does Land Only means?
Land-only is a package tour without International and local airfare.
What does per person, double occupancy mean?
Per person, double occupancy means the price each guest pays when sharing a room.
What if I miss my flight or my flight is delayed, and I miss the beginning of my trip?
If your flight is delayed or you miss your flight, please notify us or our local representative (contact information is included in your travel documents) as soon as possible so we may inform our local representative of your updated arrival. Additional costs for airport transfer service may apply if you arrive later than the scheduled arrival date/time.  If you arrive later in the itinerary and the group has moved to a different destination, it will be your responsibility to catch up and meet the group at that destination.  We will provide you with the most up-to-date meeting information.  Please note that Globotours cannot reimburse you for any unused portion of the trip.

What is single supplement surcharge?
Single supplement is the additional cost to occupy the room alone.
What is your payment schedule?
Most packages require a non-refundable deposit, as indicated in the program to confirm the reservation, which will be applied towards the cost of your package. Your account balance is due 60-75 days prior to the trip departure date. Certain tours may require an additional non-refundable airline deposit at the time of booking. This is indicated during the booking process. More information can be found in our Terms and Conditions.  
What level of physical fitness is required for the tour?
Depending on the program, expect a decent amount of walking and an occasional flight of stairs or some steps. We recommend you carefully consider your ability to meet the tour's physical demands. If you have any questions or concerns about your ability to meet the trip's requirements, we urge you to consult your medical practitioner.
What types of payments do you accept?
We accept Mastercard and Visa, bank transfers, and personal checks. When paying your balance by personal check, all checks must be received in full prior to the due date. When do I receive my travel documents and what it will include?
Travel documents will be mailed or e-mailed to you approximately 21 days prior to the trip departure date. It usually takes about 7 – 10 business days. You may access your booking confirmation page anytime by logging into your Globotours account on our website.
