Itinerary

Day 1 I Arrival in Casablanca, Transfer to Rabat

Welcome to Morocco! Upon your arrival in Casablanca, our local representative will extend a warm welcome and facilitate your smooth transfer to the hotel in Rabat.

Accommodation: Conrad Hotel Arzana, Rabat (Garden View room) or similar

Day 2 I Exploration of Rabat

Embark on a captivating journey through Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Our comprehensive city tour unveils the cultural influences and exquisitely preserved remnants of Moorish history. Explore the renowned 12th-century Hassan Tower, a masterpiece of Moorish architecture, accompanied by the mausoleum dedicated to Mohamed V. Capture memorable moments at a photo stop by the Royal Palace before indulging in lunch at a local McDonald's restaurant (at your own expense). After lunch, experience the majestic Oudaya Kasbah, perched above the Atlantic Ocean, featuring a splendid gate and a charming craft museum housed in a former palace. Following this enriching day, return to your hotel and savor the rest of the afternoon in relaxation.

Day 3 I Exploration of Casablanca and Journey to Agafay Desert

Begin your day by immersing yourself in the significant landmarks of Casablanca, including Mohammed V Square and the iconic Hassan II Mosque. Take a leisurely stroll through the vibrant Hablus district market and catch a glimpse of the exterior of the Royal Palace. Indulge in a delightful lunch at Le Cabestan before embarking on a journey to Agafay. Upon reaching Marrakech, transition to a minibus and traverse panoramic roads, passing through charming Berber villages to gain insights into the mountainous Berber way of life. Upon arrival in the Agafay Desert, relish the free time to soak in the tranquility of the desert. Later in the evening, weather permitting, savor a dinner under the stars.

Day 4 I Agafay Desert to Marrakech

Begin your morning by exploring the breathtaking landscapes of the Agafay Desert on a camel ride. Afterward, we transferred to Marrakech, often called the "Pearl of the South." As you enter this city, which has bestowed its name upon the country, you'll be captivated by its magical and diverse essence. Indulge in a delightful lunch at Les Jardins Du Lotus. Upon settling into your accommodation, the remainder of the day is yours to savor the charms of the city.

Tonight, relish a dinner experience at The Nouba.

Day 5 I Exploration of Marrakech

Today is dedicated to immersing yourself in the wonders of Marrakech, the renowned city of Morocco. The majority of the city's architectural treasures are nestled within the Medina, the historic walled quarter. Begin your exploration by visiting the 12th-century Koutoubia minaret, a sublime example of Islamic architecture in North Africa that graces Marrakech's skyline. Next, delve into the opulence of Dar El Bacha, a mansion constructed in 1910 that was once the residence of Thami El Glaoui, the appointed Pasha of Marrakech. Now a museum, it showcases exquisite Moroccan architectural traditions, featuring central courtyards adorned with fountains and orange trees, traditional lounges, and a hammam. Continue your journey with a visit to the Medersa, the sole formerly religious site accessible to non-Muslims. Wander through the vibrant Medina's winding alleyways, providing glimpses into the authentic life of Marrakech. Explore the ferrane (traditional oven) and the fernatchi, and be enchanted by the Medina's intricate streets teeming with handcrafted Moroccan treasures such as babouche slippers, brassware, woodwork, jewelry, spices, kaftans, carpets, and pottery. After a flavorful lunch, stroll through the iconic Jemaa Fna square. It is a spectacle like no other, a sprawling stage where Marrakech's vibrant theater unfolds. After the tour, you have the option to continue your exploration at the Square or return to your hotel with your guide.

Day 6 I Leisure Day in Marrakech

Today is yours to explore Marrakech at your leisure. Take the opportunity to indulge in optional activities, such as a mesmerizing Hot Air Balloon experience or a delightful Cooking class.

Tonight, gather with fellow group members for a farewell dinner at Dar Soukkar.

Day 7 I Departure from Marrakech

Bid farewell to the enchanting landscapes of Morocco as you are transferred to Casablanca Airport. Today marks the conclusion of your memorable journey, and you'll proceed to board your departure flight from Marrakech Airport.

FAQs

Can I add airfare to the land package?
Yes, you can add airfare to a package. Let us know at the time of your reservation. Please note pricing and availability is always subject to change Prior to ticket issuance.
Can I change my reservation if I've made a mistake?
There is a $75 change fee (per person, per change) for any changes made to a reservation after it has been confirmed.  Any passenger name change made to a booking reservation after it has been confirmed will result in a $100 per person per name change fee and is subject to availability, additional airline change, and/or cancellation fees. Additional fees may apply.  For more details, please contact us.
Can I extend or modify my trip?
We will do our best to accommodate your request. Any modification must be arranged before the deposit is made and subject to availability.
Can I opt-out of certain activities on the trip?
While any unused portion of the trip is non-refundable, you can opt-out of certain included activities if you do not wish to participate in them. Please be sure to notify us prior to your departure date and notify your tour guide upon arrival. You will be responsible for any expenses incurred should you deviate from the tour during the scheduled tour itinerary. If you choose to deviate from the tour group on a day we are transiting from one city to another. You will also be responsible for your own transportation and expenses incurred. 
Can I request adjoining rooms?
We can request adjoining rooms, however, requests cannot be guaranteed as it is based on hotel availability.
Can I select my seats on my flight during the booking process?
Seat assignments on your flight can be done directly via the airline. You can either select your seats at the airline check-in counter on the day of your flight, or after we issue your tickets, you may call the airline directly and pay the fee for pre-assign seats.
Can we book a triple room?
Triple rooms are available upon request for select tours. Please note hotels will provide a rollaway bed for the third traveler in a double room. 
Do U.S. citizens need a visa to visit Morocco?
If you plan to travel to Morocco for tourism or other short-term purposes, U.S. citizens are exempt from obtaining visas and can visit the country with just their passport and a return flight ticket for a stay of up to 90 days. Ensure that your passport has at least six months of validity at the time of entry, and keep one empty page available for entry and exit stamps.
Do you offer and/or suggest travel insurance?
We recommend you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected.  
How much time will I get to myself?
Each program is different. Whenever possible, we offer to modify the program to fit your requirements.
I have special dietary requirements, can you accommodate them?
Meals provided during your tour are based on local cuisine and menus. We can generally assist guests in communicating special meal requests to airlines, hotels, and restaurants but please be aware that they are not guaranteed. Please let us know at the time of booking your trip. We will notify our tour guides of any food allergies, but please note meal alternatives are subject to confirmation as they are based on the availability of the providing restaurant. For those with strict dietary needs, we recommend bringing pre-packaged food alternatives for your trip.
What does Land Only means?
Land-only is a package tour without International and local airfare.
What does per person, double occupancy mean?
Per person, double occupancy means the price each guest pays when sharing a room.
What is single supplement surcharge?
Single supplement is the additional cost to occupy the room alone.
