Welcome to Buenos Aires, Argentina’s vibrant capital known for its European flair and passionate tango culture. Upon arrival, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free to relax and recover from your journey or start exploring the city’s lively streets at your own pace.

Discover the vibrant spirit of Buenos Aires, the birthplace of tango! Begin your city tour with a drive along Avenida 9 de Julio, the world’s widest avenue, passing by the impressive Colón Theatre, one of the city’s most famous landmarks. Continue along Avenida de Mayo to Plaza de Mayo, surrounded by the Casa Rosada, Metropolitan Cathedral, and Cabildo. Visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, home to the mausoleum of General San Martín, Argentina’s national hero, and where Pope Francis once celebrated mass.
Stop for a coffee at a traditional café before exploring La Boca, a colorful neighborhood known for its lively Caminito Street and vibrant street art. Then head to Recoleta, one of Buenos Aires’ most elegant districts, filled with chic boutiques, restaurants, and historic charm. Visit the Recoleta Cemetery, resting place of many national figures, including Eva Perón (Evita).
In the evening, experience an authentic tango show with dinner at El Viejo Almacén, one of Buenos Aires’ most iconic venues. Enjoy live music, singing, and passionate dance performances that capture the essence of Argentina’s beloved art form. After the show, return to your hotel around midnight.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, located on the island of Tierra del Fuego. Upon arrival, take a short orientation tour with a photo stop at one of Ushuaia’s panoramic viewpoints before transferring to your hotel.
Ushuaia, the capital of Tierra del Fuego, has grown rapidly in recent years, driven by immigration and local industry. The city offers fascinating attractions such as the End of the World Museum (formerly a prison) and excellent dining, where you can sample the region’s famous Patagonian spider crab. A stroll around the harbor provides scenic views and glimpses of historic vessels that reflect Ushuaia’s rich maritime past.

This morning, enjoy a half-day excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park, a stunning natural reserve where time seems to stand still. Rivers flowing into the Beagle Channel crisscrossed the park’s rugged scenery. Drive through the park to admire its landscapes and take a short walk along scenic trails.
The afternoon is free for you to relax, or you may choose to join an optional boat tour of the Beagle Channel and Sea Lion Island (bookable locally through your guide).

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Trelew.
Note: Depending on flight schedules, the route from Ushuaia to Trelew may require a connection in Buenos Aires or El Calafate, or may operate directly to Puerto Madryn.
Upon arrival, travel to the Punta Tombo Reserve, located approximately 80 miles south of Trelew. This remarkable wildlife sanctuary is home to a variety of seabird colonies, including cormorants, ñandúes, guanacos, seals, and Patagonian hares. From mid-September, more than one million Magellanic penguins migrate here to nest—an unforgettable experience as you walk along the boardwalks surrounded by these endearing creatures.
Note: The Punta Tombo excursion operates from mid-September to March and is subject to park opening dates. Adjustments may be made if necessary.
After your visit, continue to Puerto Madryn, a charming coastal city founded by Welsh settlers on the shores of the Nuevo Gulf. Known for its scenic waterfront, inviting restaurants, and as the gateway to the Valdés Peninsula, the area is celebrated for its rich marine life, including sea lions, whales, penguins, and a wide variety of seabirds.

Enjoy a full-day excursion to the Valdés Peninsula, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its diverse marine life. Stop at Puerto Pirámides, where you can join an optional whale-watching tour (available from May to mid-December) and enjoy free time for lunch. Continue to Punta Pirámides to see sea lions and to Punta Cantor to observe sea elephants along Caleta Valdés. On the way back, cross the Ameghino Isthmus and visit its interpretation center. Along the journey, watch for guanacos, rheas, maras, and other native wildlife.

Located on the southern shore of Lake Argentino, El Calafate is a charming town and the starting point for exploring Los Glaciares National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.
If time permits, you may visit the Glaciarium Museum on your own, South America’s first museum dedicated to glaciers, featuring interactive exhibits and the Glacio-Bar, Argentina’s first ice bar.

Embark on a full-day tour to the iconic Perito Moreno Glacier. Drive through Los Glaciares National Park, where vibrant forests give way to the breathtaking sight of the glacier. One of the few glaciers still advancing, Perito Moreno periodically spans the gap between the mainland and the glacier itself, sending massive ice blocks crashing into Lago Argentino with a thunderous roar—a spectacular natural display you can witness daily.
Spend approximately two hours exploring the glacier, taking in the panoramic views and dramatic icefalls, before returning to El Calafate.
