DAY 1 | ARRIVAL IN DELHI

Welcome to Delhi, India's vibrant capital, where history and modernity coexist. When you arrive, our representative will greet you and help with your transfer to your hotel. Settle into your accommodation and relax as you prepare for the incredible journey ahead.

DAY 2 | EXPLORING DELHI'S TIMELESS HERITAGE

After breakfast, embark on a captivating walking tour of Old Delhi, starting with a photo stop at the iconic Red Fort, an architectural masterpiece built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1638. Continue to Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, renowned for its grand courtyard that can accommodate 25,000 worshippers. Pay homage at Raj Ghat, the serene memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, where an eternal flame burns in his honor. Drive past Delhi's stately government buildings, including the Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhavan, which reflect the grandeur of British colonial architecture. Pause for a photo at India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to fallen soldiers of World War I and the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. DAY 3 | FLIGHT TO JAISALMER

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Jaisalmer, a mesmerizing desert city in Rajasthan known as the "Golden City of India" for its stunning yellow sandstone architecture. Founded by Maharawal Jaisal Singh, Jaisalmer is home to the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort, a 12th-century "living fort" where a quarter of the city's population still resides. The city's medieval charm is reflected in its opulent havelis, ornate palaces, bustling bazaars, and vibrant streets lined with intricately carved buildings. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, taking in the enchanting desert ambiance.

DAY 4 | EXPLORING JAISALMER / THE GOLDEN CITY

After breakfast, embark on a captivating exploration of Jaisalmer, beginning with the Jaisalmer Fort, also known as the "Golden Fort" or "Sonar Quila." Built in 1156 AD by Rawal Jaisal, this imposing structure rises majestically from Trikuta Hill, its yellow sandstone walls blending seamlessly with the surrounding Thar Desert. Within the fort, visit the exquisite Jain Temples, renowned for their intricate carvings and stunning architecture reminiscent of the Dilwara Temples. Next, admire the artistry of Nathmalji Ki Haveli, an architectural marvel built by two brothers, each working on one side, resulting in an impressively symmetrical façade. Continue to the Patwon Ki Haveli, Jaisalmer's largest and most elaborate mansion, a cluster of five havelis adorned with delicate stonework. Then, visit the Salim Singh Ki Haveli, distinguished by its peacock-shaped roof and striking design, which was once home to a powerful prime minister. Founded in 1459 AD by Rao Jodha, a chief of the Rathore clan, Jodhpur is Rajasthan's second-largest city, encircled by a formidable 6.2-mile-long wall. Towering over Jodhpur is the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, while the opulent Umaid Bhawan Palace graces its eastern skyline. Next, explore the imposing Mehrangarh Fort, perched 400 feet above the city and founded by Rao Jodha in 1459 AD. This formidable stronghold offers breathtaking views and houses opulent palaces, including Moti Mahal (Pearl Palace), Phool Mahal (Flower Palace), and Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), along with a fascinating collection of royal artifacts. In the afternoon, embark on an immersive heritage walk through the old city, unraveling the hidden gems of medieval Jodhpur. Stroll through Fateh Pol, the original entrance to Mehrangarh Fort, and visit the historic Rani Sari water tank, as well as the Chand Baori stepwell. DAY 7 | JODHPUR / RANAKPUR / UDAIPUR

After breakfast, journey to Udaipur, stopping at the awe-inspiring Ranakpur Jain Temples, an architectural marvel from the 15th century, built during the reign of Rana Kumbha. Nestled amidst the Aravalli hills, this sacred site is best known for the Chaumukha Temple, dedicated to Adinathji. It features 29 intricately designed halls and 1,444 uniquely carved pillars, each with its distinct motif. Continuing the drive, arrive in Udaipur, known as the "City of Lakes," which was established in 1559 AD by Maharana Udai Singh along the banks of Lake Pichola. The city's grand palaces, elegant havelis, centuries-old temples, and verdant gardens create an alluring blend of heritage and natural beauty. From its balconies and cupolas, the palace offers breathtaking views of the lake. Next, visit the Crystal Gallery, housed within Fateh Prakash Palace, which is home to the world's most extensive private collection of crystals. Commissioned in 1877 by Maharana Sajjan Singh, the collection remained untouched for over a century. Exquisite crystal furniture, chandeliers, crockery, and even a jewel-studded carpet are on display. DAY 9 | FLIGHT TO JAIPUR

After breakfast, enjoy a half-day free for personal exploration, with rooms available until noon. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Known as the Pink City for its distinct color, Jaipur was founded in 1727 AD by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, following a meticulously planned grid layout designed by Bengali architect Vidyadhar Bhattacharya, based on the principles of Shilpa Shastra, an ancient Hindu architectural guide. With its rich history, vibrant culture, and majestic buildings, Jaipur offers a royal experience steeped in valor, traditions, and grandeur. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for the evening.

DAY 10 | JAIPUR

After breakfast, embark on a full-day exploration of Jaipur, starting with a photo stop at the iconic Hawa Mahal, a five-story palace built in 1799 by Sawai Pratap Singh. With its 953 delicately carved pink sandstone windows, this architectural marvel was initially designed for the royal ladies to observe city life behind veils. Next, visit Amber Fort, a stunning blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture perched high on a hill, accessible by jeep. Built in 1592, the fort features the famous Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors), where mirrors imported from Belgium reflect even the smallest light. Continue with a visit to Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where the astronomical instruments built by Maharaja Jai Singh II between 1727 and 1734 showcase his mastery of celestial observation. Later, enjoy a rickshaw ride through the bustling lanes of the Old Bazaar, experiencing Jaipur's vibrant traditional charm. Stop for a cup of Indian masala tea at the historic Gulab Singh Ji Chai Wala, a cherished tea shop that dates back to pre-independence India. In the evening, participate in a cooking demonstration with a local family, where you will learn the art of combining spices to prepare traditional Indian curries. This is followed by dinner, allowing you to savor your culinary creations and interact with the family about Indian life and culture.

DAY 11 | JAIPUR / ABHANERI / AGRA

After breakfast, drive towards Agra, approximately 149 miles, 5 5-hour drive. We make an enriching stop at Abhaneri to visit the Chand Baori stepwell and the Harshat Mata Temple, without a guide. Abhaneri is renowned for its intricately designed stepwell, a marvel of rainwater harvesting. The Chand Baori is one of the largest and deepest stepwells in India, with 13 levels and a depth of 65 feet. The stepwell's stunning carvings and massive structure offer a striking visual experience. After this visit, continue your journey to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal, where the magnificent architecture of its mausoleums, forts, and palaces reflects the grandeur of the Mughal Empire. While Agra's political significance waned when the capital was relocated to Delhi in 1634, its architectural splendor remains unmatched, and its skilled artisans continue to uphold the legacy of inlay work on marble and soapstone. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in.

DAY 12 | AGRA TO DELHI

Early this morning, visit the Taj Mahal for a breathtaking sunrise experience, the perfect time to witness the monument's dome glowing with a soft, golden hue. This quiet, peaceful moment offers the rare opportunity to capture stunning photos without crowds, making it an unforgettable experience. (Note: The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.) Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast and then check out. Next, visit the Agra Fort, a majestic structure commissioned by Emperor Akbar in 1666 and expanded by his grandson Shah Jahan. Inside, you'll find a series of beautiful buildings, including the Moti Masjid, Diwan-i-Am, Diwan-i-Khaas, Musamman Burj (where Shah Jahan was imprisoned), Jahangir's Palace, and Shish Mahal. After exploring this grand fort, drive back to Delhi (approximately 149 miles, a 6-hour drive). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight for your onward journey.

FAQs

Can I add airfare to the land package?
Yes, you can add airfare to a package. Let us know at the time of your reservation. Please note pricing and availability is always subject to change Prior to ticket issuance.
Can I change my reservation if I've made a mistake?
There is a $75 change fee (per person, per change) for any changes made to a reservation after it has been confirmed.  Any passenger name change made to a booking reservation after it has been confirmed will result in a $100 per person per name change fee and is subject to availability, additional airline change, and/or cancellation fees. Additional fees may apply.  For more details, please contact us.
Can I extend or modify my trip?
We will do our best to accommodate your request. Any modification must be arranged before the deposit is made and subject to availability.
Can I opt-out of certain activities on the trip?
While any unused portion of the trip is non-refundable, you can opt-out of certain included activities if you do not wish to participate in them. Please be sure to notify us prior to your departure date and notify your tour guide upon arrival. You will be responsible for any expenses incurred should you deviate from the tour during the scheduled tour itinerary. If you choose to deviate from the tour group on a day we are transiting from one city to another. You will also be responsible for your own transportation and expenses incurred. 
Can I request adjoining rooms?
We can request adjoining rooms, however, requests cannot be guaranteed as it is based on hotel availability.
Can I select my seats on my flight during the booking process?
Seat assignments on your flight can be done directly via the airline. You can either select your seats at the airline check-in counter on the day of your flight, or after we issue your tickets, you may call the airline directly and pay the fee for pre-assign seats.
Can we book a triple room?
Triple rooms are available upon request for select tours. Please note hotels will provide a rollaway bed for the third traveler in a double room. 
Do you offer and/or suggest travel insurance?
We recommend you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected.

How much time will I get to myself?
Each program is different. Whenever possible, we offer to modify the program to fit your requirements.
I am a solo traveler, can you match me with other solo travelers on my tour?
For privacy reasons, we do not pair solo travelers with one another.  A single supplement fee will apply for solo travelers.
I have special dietary requirements, can you accommodate them?
Meals during your tour will feature local cuisine and menus, offering you an authentic taste of the destination. While we’re happy to assist in communicating special meal requests to airlines, hotels, and restaurants, please note that these requests are not guaranteed. If you have any dietary preferences or allergies, please notify us at the time of booking so that we can inform our tour guides accordingly. However, meal alternatives depend on the restaurant’s availability and are subject to confirmation. For those with strict dietary needs, we recommend bringing pre-packaged food options to ensure a comfortable dining experience throughout your trip.
My outbound flight has been cancelled by the airline; what do I do now?
If your flight has been canceled, please liaise with the airline directly to book the next available flight. If, for any reason, you are unhappy with the alternate flight offered by the airline and decide to book a new outbound flight on your own, please note that the original return flight(s) will automatically be canceled if you are a no-show on your original outbound flight.
My package includes the arrival transfer, how do I know when/where to meet up with my driver?
Information on how /where to meet up with your driver is included in your travel documents. On arrival at the airport, please collect your luggage, make your way through customs, and enter the arrivals hall, where the driver will be waiting for you. Should luggage be very slow coming through, or should you have any issues with damaged or lost luggage, please make sure that you complete the necessary documentation within the luggage area. ONE MEMBER of the party should go through customs and into the arrivals hall to advise the driver of the delay. Please note that this person will not be allowed access back into the luggage area. You could also contact our local representative. Extra costs may apply if meeting your driver is delayed more than one hour following your scheduled flight arrival time.  
What are the visa requirements?
Visa requirements for each destination are indicated in our Essential Travel Information on our website. Information is also available at the US Department of State website at https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel.html. It is the responsibility of travelers to obtain proper visas in a timely manner prior to the trip departure date.  
What does Land Only means?
Land-only is a package tour without International and local airfare.
What does per person, double occupancy mean?
Per person, double occupancy means the price each guest pays when sharing a room.
What if I miss my flight or my flight is delayed, and I miss the beginning of my trip?
If your flight is delayed or you miss your flight, please notify us or our local representative (contact information is included in your travel documents) as soon as possible so we may inform our local representative of your updated arrival. Additional costs for airport transfer service may apply if you arrive later than the scheduled arrival date/time.  If you arrive later in the itinerary and the group has moved to a different destination, it will be your responsibility to catch up and meet the group at that destination.  We will provide you with the most up-to-date meeting information.  Please note that Globotours cannot reimburse you for any unused portion of the trip.

What is single supplement surcharge?
Single supplement is the additional cost to occupy the room alone.
What is your payment schedule?
Most packages require a non-refundable deposit, as indicated in the program to confirm the reservation, which will be applied towards the cost of your package. Your account balance is due 75-90 days prior to the trip departure date. Certain tours may require an additional non-refundable airline deposit at the time of booking. This is indicated during the booking process. More information can be found in our Terms and Conditions.  
What level of physical fitness is required for the tour?
Depending on the program, expect a decent amount of walking and an occasional flight of stairs or some steps. We recommend you carefully consider your ability to meet the tour's physical demands. If you have any questions or concerns about your ability to meet the trip's requirements, we urge you to consult your medical practitioner.
What types of payments do you accept?
We accept Mastercard and Visa, bank transfers, and personal checks. When paying your balance by personal check, all checks must be received in full prior to the due date. When do I receive my travel documents and what it will include?
Travel documents will be mailed or e-mailed to you approximately 21 days prior to the trip departure date. It usually takes about 7 – 10 business days. You may access your booking confirmation page anytime by logging into your Globotours account on our website.
