Itinerary

Day 1 | ARRIVAL IN DELHI

Welcome to India! Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be welcomed by our representative at the airport, who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. A city steeped in history, Delhi has been the seat of power for numerous empires over the past millennium. It has witnessed cycles of destruction and rebirth, with its conquerors often becoming its rulers. Today, Delhi is a fascinating blend of two distinct worlds: Old Delhi and New Delhi. While Old Delhi, once the capital of Islamic India, is a maze of narrow lanes, historic havelis, and grand mosques, New Delhi stands in stark contrast with its wide boulevards, colonial-era architecture, and meticulously planned layout, a legacy of the British Raj. After checking in, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure, allowing you to unwind and acclimate to the vibrant energy of India's capital city.

Accommodation: The Oberoi, New Delhi (Premier room)

DAY 2 | EXPLORING DELHI

After breakfast, embark on a captivating journey through Delhi's rich history and architectural splendor. Begin with a photo stop at the Red Fort, the grand sandstone citadel built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1638, followed by a visit to Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, known for its striking red sandstone and white marble minarets. Pay homage at Raj Ghat, the serene memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, before driving past New Delhi's colonial landmarks, including Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhawan, the official residence of the President of India. Pause for a photo at the iconic India Gate, a towering war memorial honoring soldiers of World War I and the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War. Conclude your exploration at the magnificent Humayun's Tomb, a UNESCO-listed masterpiece and precursor to the Taj Mahal, set within a beautifully landscaped Mughal garden. After a day steeped in history and culture, return to your hotel for a restful evening.

Upon arrival in Agra, check into your hotel and unwind. Situated on the banks of the Yamuna River, Agra is a city steeped in Mughal grandeur, once the empire's political heart before the capital shifted to Delhi. Renowned for its timeless architectural marvels—including the iconic Taj Mahal—Agra showcases a rich legacy of forts, palaces, and mausoleums that reflect the opulence of the Mughal era.
