Start in the island of the Gods and get to know the Indonesian traditions and with free time to relax and to experience unique Balinese culture, a plane ride away, Tokyo takes the tempo up a notch with a head-spinning view of the city from the 1,092-foot Tokyo Tower. From the soaring Meiji Shrine to the sparkling shops of Ginza, every sight in this kinetic city seems to be at the center of the action.
DEPART HOMETOWN/BALI
Board your flight to Bali.
ARRIVE BALI/UBUD
Arrive at Ngurah Rai International airport. After customs and immigration procedures, meet your guide at the airport arrival hall to transfer to your resort in Ubud.
Located in the traditional village of Silungan, Alena Resort Ubud sits in a tropical jungle and rice fields with a 10-minute drive from Ubud town center.

Start the day with morning yoga to balance body and soul at your resort’s Yoga pavilion while enjoying the cool morning breeze from the tropical jungles. Unwind yourself in your resort’s outdoor swimming pool, reading books on a daybed while enjoying the serenity and relaxing atmosphere, or go shopping at Ubud Market.

A free day to relax or participate in one of the hotel’s complimentary activities.
ART VILLAGES, MONKEY FOREST & RICE TERRACE/NUSA DUA (B)
After breakfast, check out your room with the front desk. We learn about Balinese culture, architecture, and traditions on a half-day tour with your guide. We drive to Batubulan village to see the center of handmade Batik weaving. Visit the town of Celuk to see gold and silversmiths at work and admire Bali’s wood carving crafts at Mas. Continue to the Sacred Monkey Forest, where you will see gray macaques roam among Hindu temples in the forest. Wander around the Ubud market before visiting the King’s Palace. Our final stop is the stunning Tegalalang Rice Terrace, one of Bali’s most picturesque landscapes. Get back in the car and head to Nusa Dua in southern Bali, known for its sandy beaches. We will stay in a beachfront resort for the next four nights.
The Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa features three outdoor pools and direct beach access. The resort resembles a Balinese palace with complete Spa facilities, four restaurants, and four Bars. Each guestroom is decorated with authentic Balinese furnishing and offers stunning views of manicured tropical gardens or vistas of the ocean from the terrace or balcony.

Today is yours free to enjoy the resort or relax on the beach, indulge in spa treatments, shopping and explore the nightlife of Seminyak.

Make today a lazy day, relax by the pool, sip cocktails, enjoy some poolside cuisines or go shopping in Jalan Laksmana.

Experience the best sundown spot in Bali on a visit to Uluwatu Temple, a Balinese temple built to protect the island from evil spirits at the edge of a 230-foot-high cliff with a commanding view of the Indian Ocean. After exploring the temple and watching the sunset, witness Bali’s most famous cultural performance, the Kecak Fire Dance. With a beautiful ocean sunset as your backdrop, enjoy a Kecak dance with traditional Balinese movements and chants performed in a circle around a blazing torch. After the tour, savor a barbecue seafood dinner at Jimbaran Bay.

Spend the day at leisure. For those seeking an adventure, take our optional day trip to Nusa Penida.

Spend the day exploring Nusa Penida, a charming island nestled in the waters between Bali and Lombok. Admire the island’s beautiful beaches, rugged coastline, and discover why Nusa Penida has become a popular destination for travelers.
After a pick-up from your hotel, take a 40-minute fast boat crossing small straits to the island. Our first stop is Uwug Beach, also known as Broken Beach, for a scenic view. Then, head to Klingking Hills, where you can enjoy the spectacular view before sitting down for lunch. After lunch, board a small boat to the next destination, where you will have time for snorkeling. Enjoy the variety of colorful fish and excellent Coral. Return to Nusa Penida Island and enjoy some time on the natural white sand beach before returning to the harbor to catch the fast boat back to Bali. Upon Arrival at Sanur pier, our driver will drive you back to your hotel.
BALI/TOKYO (B)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Tokyo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in the Shinjuku ward.
Located in Shinjuku, a thriving business, shopping, and entertainment district in the center of Tokyo, Hyatt Regency Tokyo is a nine-minute walk from the west exit of Shinjuku station and within easy reach to Tokyo Opera City and Harajuku.
TOKYO CITY TOUR (B)
Today’s Tokyo city tour includes visiting the magnificent Meiji Shrine, a Shinto shrine famous for its Torii Gate and beautiful inner garden. Then, we will explore the Imperial Palace Outer Garden and Nijubashi, Tokyo’s most recognized bridge that forms an entrance to the inner palace grounds. Continue to Asakusa and visit Sensoji, a very popular Buddhist temple built in the 7th century. Stroll through Nakamise, a shopping street that has provided temple visitors with various traditional local snacks and souvenirs for centuries. Our tour ends at Yurakucho Station, where you can stay to explore the neighboring Ginza district as you wish or return to your hotel for an afternoon at leisure.
FREE DAY IN TOKYO (B)
Explore Tokyo at your own pace.
Optional Experience:
Full-day Mt. Fuji and Hakone Tour with lunch: $155 per person, minimum of two participants.
Board an air-conditioned coach and go on a day trip to visit Mount Fuji and Lake Ashi. Ascend to the Fifth Station at 7,607 feet above sea level (weather permitting) for the closest view and witness the elegance of Japan’s natural beauty. After lunch, head to Hakone for a cruise on Lake Ashi with a perfect view of Mt. Fuji in the background. Then, ride a ropeway cable car into the Ōwakudani Volcanic Valley, where you can get a bird’s eye view of the many hot springs below. Try traditional Kuro Tamago (Hakone volcano blackened eggs), which are said to prolong one’s life by seven years. After the tour, transfer back to Tokyo for a drop-off at Shinjuku Station. Option for return to Tokyo by bullet train is available with a $30 per person surcharge.
TOKYO DEPARTURE (B)
At the appropriate time, check out your hotel and take your transfer to the airport, where you’ll catch your flight home.
